Main Responsibilities

We are recruiting within the Group Purchasing Department a Group Buyer Spare Parts and Industrial Consumables (M / F).

Directly reporting to the Group OPEX Purchasing Manager your role will be to implement purchasing methodologies and strategies in line with performance objectives and the development strategy of Groupe Bel for the spare parts and industrial consumables portfolios.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Define global purchasing strategies for each category: laboratory equipment and consumables, industrial marking equipment and consumables, electrical parts and other OPEX categories through needs cost and market analysis.
  • Secure Purchasing Performance: Identify high-risk purchasing categories and develop action plans in collaboration with stakeholders. Ensure contract monitoring deployment in factories and implementation of new contracts as needed.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual budgets: Monitor economic indicators and market constraints / opportunities to define an annual budget and refine it each quarter.
  • Manage supplier relationships: Act as the key contact for suppliers within your scope and oversee the relationship (contract negotiation, business development, performance monitoring, dispute management).
  • Aggregate spending: Consolidate expenditures through group contracts by deploying them across the group’s factories in all geographies.
  • Optimize SAP operations: Implement electronic catalogs with computerized exchanges with suppliers. Explore AI applications in reference management.
  • Manage and rationalize the supplier panel in line with purchasing strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance as part of our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) approach at the group level for quality cost lead time CSR and innovation by coordinating supplier evaluations and leading Business Reviews to be shared with Group Quality Managers.
  • Ensure administrative management of the OPEX scope; monitor proper contract updates in SAP according to changes in commercial terms and carry out updates with the support of the OPEX / CAPEX Purchasing Coordinator.
Profile
  • You hold a higher education degree (Masters Bac5) in engineering purchasing management or equivalent professional experience complemented by specialized training in purchasing or sales.
  • You have at least 3 years of prior experience as a buyer in maintenance spare parts or industrial consumables.
  • You possess a strong knowledge of stock management ERP systems (SAP) the agri-food sector and its quality and regulatory constraints. You are comfortable managing numerous references within an ERP. You are proactive in improving parts and consumables management processes (EDI electronic catalog AI etc.).
  • You are adept at addressing technical domains and have legal knowledge for drafting purchasing documents (orders contracts etc.).
  • You are fluent in English.
