Job Description
  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
  • Optimize route planning and truck utilization
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
  • Interact with our customers (internal and external) in arranging their GNS shipments, meeting customer service standards
  • Contribute to and maintain good relationships with suppliers
  • Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations
  • Understand department process flow, and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are in place and updated in the DLSOPs
  • Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures
  • Maintain timely communication
  • Escalate problems to Management when necessary
  • Promote compliance by diligently following all company policies and regulations, performing tasks with integrity and pride

Qualifications
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience
  • Knowledge of Expeditors’ Company Policies and Procedures
  • Basic local regulatory knowledge for compliance
  • Knowledge of the Global Logistics Industry
  • Hazardous materials certification (preferred)
  • Proactive, strong organizational skills
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
  • Fluent in English
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly to obtain positive results
  • Positive and helpful attitude
