Ideal candidates will have 2 years of customer-facing experience, hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and be fluent in both English and French. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Professional to provide exceptional on-site customer services with a focus on troubleshooting installing repairing Industrial Scientific instruments and training clients on the use of these instruments and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support and Solutions
  • Provide on-site commissioning start-up and installation of Industrial Scientific equipment. Resolve customer issues in a manner that is consistent with the companys mission and values.
  • Offer data-driven consultations helping customers interpret usage insights and recommend best practices for safety compliance and operational improvements
  • Travels to customer sites to perform application assessment and requirements gathering
Training and Enablement
  • Deliver training to customers end-users and channel partners on gas detection principles software platforms hardware usage to promote successful adoption and best practicesconducting virtual sessions (e.g. webinars or online demos) or in-person workshops as part of daily / weekly routines including developing customized content and assessing post-training effectiveness to drive ongoing usage and support deployment success
Partner and Internal Collaboration
  • Support channel partners (e.g. fulfillment centers and distributors) by reviewing performance leading corrective / preventive actions and ensuring operational standards for inventory stock levels and service qualitythrough regular virtual check-ins joint troubleshooting sessions and collaborative audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales product management engineering service) to relay customer feedback contribute to productroadmaps defect tracking and continuous improvements - participating in daily stand-ups weekly meetings or ad-hoc projects to align on issue resolutions share insights from field diagnostics and support commercial growth efforts.
  • Partner with sales for technical support during proposals demonstrations and post-installation guidance to facilitate business expansion including co-developing solutions based on real-time customer data.
  • Manages all customer situations in a professional and courteous manner with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements and Skills
  • 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role including hands-on experience with installations commissioning diagnostics and issues resolution
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and French
  • Bachelors degree in engineering Science or a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills : must be able to communicate with customers and partners on technical level.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office programs.
  • Good knowledge of IP networks and firewalls wireless connectivity.
  • Ability to travel daily (within France and internationally).
  • Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding gas detection applications and general knowledge of the industries would be advantageous.
