Your Role

We are looking for an FP&A Manufacturing to join our operations finance team at one of our key petfood production plants, located in La Chapelle Vendômoise. The FP&A Manufacturing is the right hand of the Plant Manager and a key member of the site leadership team. He/she is responsible for driving financial performance, providing accurate forecasting, supporting cost saving initiatives and taking an active role in the manufacturing Excellence journey that is about to start.

This role reports directly to the Head of Operations FP&A.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with a passion for manufacturing operations and continuous improvement, leading all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the site, supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

What you will do
Business Partnering
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Plant Manager and cross‑functional teams (production, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain), taking an active role in the main initiatives at the plant and leading all financial related ones.
  • Translate financial data into operational insights and influence decision‑making at the plant level.
  • Provide training and support to operational staff to enhance financial awareness and accountability.
Cost Control & Performance Improvement
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and lead initiatives to improve manufacturing profitability.
  • Under the new Manufacturing Excellence culture, monitor operational efficiency and provide financial insight on production performance, yield, labour utilisation, and waste.
  • Support capex business cases.
Financial Operations & Reporting
  • Manage the day‑to‑day financial operations of the manufacturing site, including cost accounting, inventory control, and fixed asset management.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, KPIs and variance reports, and design and implement new methodologies.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of production costs, overhead absorption and standard costing variances.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the site’s annual budget, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial planning processes.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain to develop cost models and forecasts aligned with production volumes and efficiency targets.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing finance role, ideally within FMCG or food production.
  • Strong ERP knowledge (SAP, Hyperion).
  • Advanced Excel/BI skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
