With a turnover close to 250M, the group is strengthening its local French accounting function to support growth, enhance reporting quality, and deliver key project work. The environment suits technically strong accountants who can manage both recurring reporting cycles and complex project tasks.

Role Overview

The Qualified Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and project support in line with group standards. The role spans monthly management accounts, year end work, tax compliance, and involvement in acquisitions and systems roll outs. The position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently within a fast moving organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts in line with group reporting timelines
  • Prepare statutory accounts and support sub consolidation for the December year end
  • Prepare annual accounts for the charitable foundation
  • Support acquisition accounting and post deal integration
  • Manage all areas of French tax compliance
  • Lead finance project work linked to the roll out of Oracle Netsuite
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial and operational projects as required
Candidate Profile
  • Fully qualified accountant (French or international qualification)
  • Fluent French and strong English
  • Experience preparing management and statutory accounts in a group environment
  • Knowledge of French tax requirements
  • Exposure to acquisitions, integration, or systems implementation is an advantage
  • Organised, analytical, and comfortable working to strict deadlines
