Qualifications

  • 15+ years of HEOR experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting settings, with significant leadership exposure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in health economic modeling, RWE study design, outcomes research, and HTA submission experience.

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Executive Director, HEOR in France.

This role offers a high-impact opportunity to lead health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives across European markets. You will shape strategy, drive evidence generation, and align insights with market access, pricing, and reimbursement decisions. Reporting to the Global Head of HEOR and collaborating closely with EU Medical Affairs, you will oversee a team of HEOR professionals and manage cross-functional and external stakeholder relationships. The position combines scientific leadership, strategic influence, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic, fast‑paced oncology-focused environment.

Accountabilities
  • Define and execute the HEOR strategy across Europe to support product lifecycle planning, value demonstration, and access engagements
  • Lead or co‑lead preparation of joint clinical assessments (JCA), HTA dossiers, and payer submissions
  • Oversee the development of health economic models, RWE studies, outcomes research programs, and burden‑of‑disease assessments
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to integrate HEOR insights into decision‑making
  • Represent the organization in scientific, payer, and HTA forums, engaging external stakeholders including KOLs, academic collaborators, and HTA bodies
  • Build, lead, and mentor a European HEOR team while managing external vendors and consultants to deliver projects within budget and timelines
  • Communicate strategy, research outcomes, and value propositions to internal leadership and external audiences
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MSc, MPH, or equivalent) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Pharmacoeconomics, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related discipline
  • 15+ years of HEOR experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting settings, with significant leadership exposure
  • Demonstrated expertise in health economic modeling, RWE study design, outcomes research, and HTA submission experience
  • Strong scientific credibility, strategic vision, and ability to influence cross‑functional and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience presenting at scientific and payer forums
  • Proven ability to manage teams and drive success across multiple markets
