The Europe Product merchandising team leads the product strategy for the region and supports the markets in defining and animating their assortment, to make each boutique a unique place to experience the brand (OBOS):
Through in‑depth analysis, feedbacks from retail teams, and strong understanding of the product strategy and the creative vision of our House, the product Merchandiser is in charge of developing its category in line with the Global strategy.
In a context of strong desirability and exclusivity, and constant evolving tentou, CHANEL FASHION EUROPE is seeking a product merchandiser responsible for managing Costume Jewelry and Other Accessories products for the Europe Fashion Market, reporting to the Product Merchandising manager Leather Goods & Accessories.
With your manager, you will support the Fashion Director & boutique directors on their buys on Costume Jewelry and Other Accessories and create strategic initiatives to drive the business on these categories.
You will be responsible for the collection vitality in season, through:
Accountability and ownership of in‑season and market prep reporting including analyses of sales, sell‑through, inventory, deliveries in Excel/PowerBI to improve sales and optimise stocks.
Conduct/summarize deep dive and ad hoc analysis on the business to impact future strategies.
Present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal analysis reviews of the category’s performance ( cultivated by boutique, product pillar, classification, style/color).
Provide end of season analysis to Global teams.
Preparation and animation of various Committees to share insights on the category.
Understand the European boutique landscape on the categories.
Actively follow the market and seasonal trends, with a strong understanding of the competitive market and key influencers (visits of competitors, competitive watch).
Regularly visit boutique teams to deliver strategic vision and gather local feedbacks (morning briefs).
Build close relationships with local merchandisers by engaging in business conversations and performance feedback sharing (collection performances and market trends).
Enthusiasm, energy, and an ability to inspire others about retail and product.
You have a good aesthetic understanding and taste for Fashion products.
Collaborating with a variety of cross‑functional teams with a service mindset and building good partnerships.
Good written, verbal, and public speaking skills; ability to articulate to various audiences in many contexts (Boutique/Corporate).
