Responsibilities

• Coordinate the integration of EHS requirements into new projects, integrating EHS requirements during project industrialisation.
• Oversee the EHS management of related projects.
• Support Site EHS manager for EHS topics, cooperate with internal resources to achieve EHS objectives, support the Site EHS Manager to perform EHS Risk Assessment and define appropriate measures to control risks, support the EHS Site Manager to prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans, assist Site EHS Manager to coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas, provide support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, environmental pollution, recognize best practices and good performance, react to violations to regulations and Alstom Standards, advise other Site personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to site activities.
• Develop Site EHS Management System, support the Site EHS Manager to develop, deploy and maintain local procedures and tools and ensure alignment with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001), support the Site EHS Manager to ensure Alstom EHS standards and tools (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP), Transport Operational Performance in Environment (TOPE), Transport Key processes) are deployed at Site level.
• EHS Compliance, assist the Site EHS Manager to ensure compliance of site activities according to EHS Plan, guidelines and work instructions, perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.
• Develop EHS culture in the site, inform, instruct and train employees to carry out work in safe & environment-friendly mode according to method of statement, participate in implementation of site EHS training programs by providing EHS inductions and ensuring Toolbox meetings are organized.
• Report, Measure & Review, support the EHS Site Manager to capture, report, record, investigate and analyse accidents/incidents in order to implement corrective and preventive actions, support preparation of monthly EHS reports, carry out inspections of work areas and EHS audits and report any discrepancy.
