Job Overview

We’re looking for a strategic and results-oriented Director of Lead to Order (L2O) to drive the end-to-end optimization of the L2O process - from lead generation to customer order fulfillment. Sitting within the CDIO organization, this role is central to enabling operational efficiency, digital transformation, and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance.

Who You Are

You are a strategic, results-driven leader with strong expertise in the Lead to Order (L2O) process. With a mix of business insight and technical know-how, you excel at driving cross-functional transformation across Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance. You thrive in global, fast-paced environments and are skilled at leading change and aligning stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and manage Lead to Order delivery teams, incl. CRM, order management, CPQ, Lead management, and provisioning platforms.
• Lead and manage the IT development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, quality focus, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement best-in-class L2O processes and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Drive transformation of the L2O domains to consolidate stacks, refresh systems where needed and automate interfaces and processes.
• Manage external suppliers and challenge / push them towards delivery excellence.
• Lead delivery process improvements towards improved planning and reliability of deliveries, high quality deliverables and increased efficiency of delivery teams.
• Maintain governance, compliance, and quality throughout the L2O value chain, and promote a culture of innovation, agility and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need

• Strong experience in leading software delivery teams and working with external suppliers.
• Deep understanding of the L2O value chain and supporting systems, especially CRM, CPQ, and ERP tools.
• Track record of driving digital transformation and large-scale process optimization initiatives.
• Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
