At Veesion were redefining retail security through AI. Our proprietary gesture recognition platform detects theft in real timecurrently protecting over 5500 stores in 45 countries.

We are experiencing rapid growth following its successful Series B funding round. This expansion phase requires strengthening our technical foundation and scaling our development capabilities to meet increasing market demands.

As we structure our growing team were seeking a Confirmed Python Developer to play a pivotal role in a dynamic environment where they can make a significant impact on both our technology stack and team culture during this exciting growth phase.

Reporting to the Head Of Engineering working together with a strong team spirit and driven by the confidence that Veesion is on track to revolutionize the retail industry.

Your Mission

• Design implement and maintain robust and scalable architectures.
• Align to best coding practices performing rigorous code reviews and encouraging other developers.
• Be involved in decision-making processes and effectively communicate technical choices to the team.
• Participate in team alignment by defending ideas and fostering a strong technical culture.
• Work hands‑on with Python to develop high‑performance applications.
• Optimize and architect database solutions using PostgreSQL including SQL query optimization.

Youre a Great Match If

• You have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development.
• You have a good proficiency in Python.
• You have a good understanding of database architectures particularly PostgreSQL.
• You are comfortable designing SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
• You know how to follow and advocate for best practices and inspire developers to follow them.
