A leading aerospace company in Nouvelle-Aquitaine is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing mechanical systems for micro-launchers. This position requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and over 10 years of senior-level experience in lightweight structure design. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure top-quality deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your role :
As a Senior Design Engineer within the mechanical design and definition division, you will play a key role in the conception and development of mechanical systems for our micro-launcher. Reporting to the technical lead (domain leader), you will act as one of the technical references within the team-supporting junior engineers, contributing to design best practices, and taking ownership of complex or time-critical design tasks.
You will collaborate closely with CAD technicians, analysis engineers, and project managers to deliver robust, manufacturable, and innovative mechanical solutions.
