Position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Statistics/Econometrics/Data Science Professor

The Department of Information, Operations and Management Sciences of TBS Education is seeking to fill a faculty position in the field of Data Science and Analytics, to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in research and high-quality teaching. The position will be based in Toulouse. The department of Information, Operations and Management Sciences brings together 26 faculty members whose recent publications include articles in the following leading journals: Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, Decision Support Systems, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Information Systems Journal, British Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, European Journal of Operational Research,. POSITION OVERVIEW:

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Statistics / Econometrics / Data Science (or Business and Management Discipline and clear evidence demonstrating excellent technical skills and programming expertise in Data Science and Analytics), and should possess excellent teaching abilities, as well as the potential to publish in leading academic journals. They may have demonstrated these qualities during their post-doctoral experience or during their previous employment. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the teaching in English and French of Statistics, Machine Learning, and Econometrics courses, at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, they will be expected to develop lectures in their field of expertise for the graduate and the Executive Education levels.
