THE ROLE

You will lead the strategic vision and revenue growth for our most critical Public Sector Central Government accounts. This role transitions customers from transactional interactions to long-term, value-driven partnerships, requiring a disciplined, strategic mindset to support modernization across Defense sector. You will champion innovative solutions and foster strong relationships with agency leaders and partners, directly impacting our business objectives and public sector mission success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive New Business Growth
  • Lead the full sales cycle from strategic prospecting to closing.
  • Identify and activate high-potential opportunities across Central Government.
  • Consistently exceed quota expectations within a complex, sovereign environment.
Deliver Outcome-Based Solutions
  • Apply consultative, insight-driven selling to uncover critical agency challenges.
  • Use data and customer mission priorities to shape solution designs.
  • Co-create solutions that deliver measurable outcomes aligned to modernization goals.
Cultivate Strategic Relationships
  • Build and maintain multi-level, trusted relationships with government executives and decision-makers.
  • Secure and sustain executive access to drive influence and strategic alignment.
  • Navigate complex hierarchies typical of Defense sector.
Execute Strategic Expansion
  • Own strategic account management and expansion across cross-sell, upsell, and new logo opportunities.
  • Develop multi-year account roadmaps aligned with customer mission and transformation priorities.
  • Drive predictable, long-term revenue growth through disciplined pipeline and forecast management.
Orchestrate Operational Excellence
  • Leverage sales systems and tools to ensure execution accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate proactively with internal teams and external partners supporting public sector customers.
  • Navigate public procurement, compliance, and regulatory processes with precision.
WHAT YOU BRING
Proven Sales Hunter Mentality
  • Strong track record of acquiring new logos and driving account expansion in complex environments.
  • Ability to identify and close white space opportunities across large public-sector organizations.
  • Persistence, creativity, and rigor in generating net-new pipeline.
Strategic Account Expertise
  • Deep experience in strategic account planning and stakeholder mapping.
  • Ability to influence senior-level stakeholders within large government structures.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead multi-year strategies in highly regulated sectors.
Consultative Selling Proficiency
  • Expertise in leading business-focused, outcome-based conversations.
  • Skilled at building compelling ROI and TCO business cases.
  • Ability to guide customers through technical and organizational transformation.
Technical & Industry Acumen
  • Understanding of storage technologies, cloud computing, and modern data center architecture.
  • Ability to translate technology into mission outcomes for Defense environments.
  • Familiarity with sovereign data, cybersecurity, and high-availability requirements.
