Responsibilities
- The Account Development Representative (ADR) is a key player in Cantata’s growth engine. You will identify and engage behavioral health and human services provider organizations that can benefit from our Arize EHR platform. As the first point of contact, the ADR will blend research, outreach, and authentic conversation to understand each organization’s mission and needs; collaborate with marketing and sales teams to qualify opportunities and build meaningful relationships that drive organizational transformation through technology.
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, and LinkedIn) to introduce Cantata and the Arize EHR platform.
- Identify and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and determine fit.
- Research behavioral health and human services provider organizations including nonprofits, CCBHCs, and state-funded providers.
- Proactively engage decision-makers such as CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and Clinical Directors to understand their operational and clinical challenges.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and user meetings.
- Coordinate discovery calls between prospective customers and their assigned Business Development Executive.
- Log all contact activity, notes, and outcomes in the company’s CRM system (HubSpot) in an accurate, timely and complete manner.
- Monitor results and make data-driven decisions to adjust campaigns, strategy, and tactics.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine messaging and improve campaign performance.
- Support the sales team in later stage deal activities, up to and including closing your own deals.
- Meet or exceed monthly metrics for outreach, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities created.
- Represent Cantata with professionalism, empathy, and a deep understanding of the behavioral health and public sector missions.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 2–5 years of demonstrated success in healthcare technology sales, business development, or customer service (preferably in SaaS).
- Fanatical about time management, prioritization and attention to detail; able to organize outreach, research, and follow-up efficiently while helping drive the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of our CRM data capture and processes.
- Dedicated to the success of our customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fast learner — able to absorb new training, product information, and industry updates and apply them quickly.
- Strong curiosity about behavioral health, healthcare operations, public sector systems, and emerging technology trends.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Proven success with LinkedIn, including maintaining an active professional profile and using LinkedIn for research and outreach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SaaS-based Electronic Health Record (EHR), Revenue Cycle Management, and/or Case Management solutions.
- Experience working in or with behavioral health and human services provider organizations.
