A leading automotive technology company in Valencia is seeking a Testing & Laboratory Technician to perform comprehensive testing on mechanical and electrical compressors. This role requires expertise in automotive engineering and fluent English. The technician will ensure data reliability and maintain testing standards while working within an anechoic chamber setting. Candidates should be knowledgeable in electrical systems, mechanical competence, and possess good PC skills. This temporary position focuses on testing and improvement processes in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Fluent in English is mandatory.
• Background in Technical Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical systems.

Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a Testing & Laboratory Technician that will perform testing on mechanical and electrical compressors for the automotive industry. The testing will be performed within a full component anechoic chamber, and the tasks will be verifying the test part, preparing the part for test, setting up the desired test equipment defined either internally or by our customer. The test operator must ensure the data reliability of the tests completed by ensuring the test bench is operating in the correct manner, final test data will be analyzed by the NVH test engineer. Performance of specific, clearly stablished instructions with a high level of dependency, requiring physical effort and/or attention. No adaptation period is needed for employees in this professional group.

*Temporary contract (sick leave) maximum 3 months.

Your Contribution

• Ensure all customer confidentiality requirements are met and continually adhered to.
• Comply with all local safety requirements and maintain a clean, orderly storage and working area.
• Mechanical fixing test compressors to the test equipment to run the desired tests.
• Following the test requirements and reporting structure as required.
• Continual improvement processes on the test equipment and within the test laboratory.
• Maintain test equipment in an ideal operating state in terms of calibration and maintenance.
• Follow test specifications as described and elevate issues of either test conditions or discrepancies.
• Follow the golden sample testing and results.

Your Skills & Strengths

• Engineering or GS (Technical Engineering).
• Fluent English is a must.
• Automotive Mechanical knowledge, basics.
• Refrigeration/AC knowledge valuable.
• Electrical and/or Electronics Knowledge.
• Required good electrical understanding.
• Mechanical competence.
• Knowledgeable with PC’s, email and MS Office applications.
• Refrigeration knowledge.
• Experience or knowledge in noise and vibration testing would be an asset.
