Formación

Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring products and processes meet quality requirements through inspections, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement across laboratories and production stages.
  • Provide guidance to staff to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and management policies in establishing, updating, and adhering to quality policies, processes, procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure a strong intercorrelation and alignment between all laboratories across different hubs to maintain consistent quality practices and standards throughout the organization.
  • Assist in ensuring that products meet quality requirements and specifications through inspections and testing activities.
  • Oversee internal audit processes, document control systems, competency assessment, training, and other quality processes.
  • Participate in the inspection of incoming materials, in-line production, and final product to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Support color validation processes to ensure accurate color representation and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the I+D, Tech Support and other stakeholders to provide analysis support for quality-related issues.
  • Ensure availability and proper operation of all test equipment.
  • Responsible for acid and chemical management for chemical testing.
  • Maintain the calibration schedule of laboratory equipment.
  • Coordinate and supervise outsourced testing results.
Qualifications / Work Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in following fields: Previous experience or internships in a laboratory or quality control environment is beneficial.
  • Quality Control and Inspection: Expertise in quality control methodologies, inspection procedures, and data analysis to ensure product and process quality.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the laboratory's industry, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge and background in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025). (Medium)
  • Quality control methodologies, inspection procedures, and data analysis. (High)
  • Regulatory compliance understanding relevant to laboratory industry. (Medium)
  • Communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills. (High)
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail; ability to multitask and adapt. (High)

Other requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial chemistry or laboratory technician, or relevant educational background in the textile and chemical field.
  • Knowledge of textile and chemical processes and their quality control requirements.
  • Knowledge and background on Quality Management System (e.g.: ISO 9001) applied to job position's task and responsibilities
  • Communication and collaboration; able to work independently.
  • Organizational and planning skills; report writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Multitasking, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
