Mission

Lead the technical team responsible for supporting and developing projects for serialization systems, in-line printing, plant weighing systems, and MES/EBR, among other industrial systems. The role ensures the proper definition of requirements, implementation, validation, support, and continuous improvement of industrial systems, guaranteeing regulatory compliance (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11), data integrity, and traceability throughout the production processes.

What your responsibilities will be
  • Act as the IT point of contact for manufacturing, engineering, and industrial automation teams, ensuring strong alignment between plant operations, global Industrial Services and IT
  • Govern and manage the relevant IT related lifecycle of plant manufacturing operations applications, including MES/EBR, serialization systems, printing systems and other industrial systems used in production lines.
  • Help in the assessment, planning, and implementation of digitalization initiatives in the manufacturing area, supporting Industry 4.0 capabilities and industrial data‑driven operations
  • Coordinate requirements gathering with process engineers, production supervisors, quality teams, and automation specialists to ensure systems meet operational and regulatory needs
  • Ensure reliability, stability and continuous improvement of manufacturing applications, including supporting users, and managing incidents and change requests
  • Lead, coordinate and develop the team, assigning priorities, managing workload, and guaranteeing timely delivery of projects and support activities.
  • Promote best practices in documentation, configuration management, validation, and lifecycle processes for industrial applications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ( Industrial, Industrial Computer Science, Telecommunications), Biotechnology, or similar technical field
  • 4+ years of experience with manufacturing IT/OT systems in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated industrial environments
  • Solid knowledge of plant‑floor applications such as MES/EBR, weigh & dispense, serialization, in‑line printing and other related manufacturing applications
  • Understanding of industrial processes, production workflows, and the interaction between digital systems and physical operations in manufacturing lines.
  • Experience working with industrial communication technologies (e.g., OPC/OPC UA, MQTT, historians, IoT gateways) and with automation/engineering stakeholders
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams (operations, engineering, quality, IT infrastructure)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret process data and system logs, identify trends, and propose improvements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects in fast‑paced production environments.
  • Experience with validation of computerized systems, regulatory compliance (GxP, Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11) and data integrity requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital manufacturing initiatives (Industry 4.0, IIoT, advanced analytics, smart factory concepts) is a strong plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language for non‑IT stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Foster a highly collaborative environment, avoiding siloed ways of working. Act as a connector between IT, operations, engineering, quality, automation, and corporate teams, ensuring smooth communication, alignment of priorities, and effective cross‑department coordination. Promote a culture of teamwork, shared ownership, and continuous improvement.
