Responsibilities
  • A Day in the Life
  • Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures.
  • Advise referring physicians on Medtronic products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers.
  • Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.
  • Report all account, market, and competitive information, trends, and metrics.
  • Collate and report all customer feedback, product and legal issues, and customer complaints from product-related events.
  • Carry out administrative duties, such as regularly providing activity reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Support the network of accounts to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure disease management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, industrial engineer or telecommunications engineer, nursing, radiology, or other relevant degree).
  • At least 2 years of experience in the medical device industry, including a hospital operating room environment, preferably with Cardiology devices.
  • Experience developing relationships and influence with cardiologists and other internal medicine specialties (nurses, technicians, etc.).
  • Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Clean driving license; willingness to travel intensively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization; detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
