A multinational company in Spain is looking for a Tax Technology Specialist to manage tax digitalization efforts and support compliance with a focus on data integration. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience in consulting, particularly in finance-related projects, and a solid understanding of SAP ERP systems. Bilingual in Spanish and English, you will collaborate with various teams to deliver sustainable tax solutions. The Corporate Tax Department at Headquarters is responsible for the Group Tax Strategy worldwide and needs to ensure all units are Tax‑Compliant and no major risks are taken both on the daily transactions but also on any extraordinary events where the Group is involved (mergers, acquisitions, restructurings).

You would be dedicated to automation, data integration, and advanced analytics to optimize processes and enable the Tax Digitalization Agenda to help the Corporate Tax Team on their tasks related to Corporate Income Tax, Tax Governance, Audits management, Value Added Tax and M&A transactions in multiple jurisdictions, aligned with Puig strategic objectives.

The main objectives of the role are to provide insights and support tax digitalization journey as well as to manage the interim state operating model in connection with the wider finance transformation program (CFIN & S4H). Additionally, this role is also key to supporting the tax team with respect to maintenance of already implemented solutions as well as anticipating needs, challenges and opportunities in relation to tax processes. It implies collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Understand the ever-changing tax regulatory challenges the Company is facing and work with Tax, Finance and Technology stakeholders to develop and deliver sustainable solutions.
  • Operate in a role that combines finance/ tax expertise with strong technology and data understanding.
  • Support Tax Team in developing and / or implementing effective tax data strategies, by acting as a liaison between the Tax Team and Finance, Technology teams and robotics, automation teams.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of a technology roadmap for Tax, helping define priorities, sequencing and dependencies.
  • Manage tax technology projects end-to-end in close collaboration with Finance and Technology teams, identifying metrics that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of new technologies.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3‑4 years of professional experience in a consulting firm, with exposure to finance related projects.
  • Good understanding of core finance concepts (e.g. P&L, Balance sheet). Tax specific knowledge is valued but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end projects at the intersection of finance and technology, from requirements gathering to implementation. Examples include finance reporting tool implementations, financial planning and budgeting solutions, financial data integration initiatives and ERP finance transformations.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) is essential.
  • Strong fundamentals in core data concepts, methods, tools and how they can be applied to transform business processes and / or support solution development.
  • Functional knowledge of databases and finance analytical models as well as other visualization and integration tools like PowerApps, Alteryx, PowerBI, SAC Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Relevant level of understanding of business requirements gathering and design, particularly with a technology overlay.
  • Ability to address or elevate complex tax process issues
  • Knowledge of software and solutions oriented to tax processes and concepts will be valued.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Industrial Engineering also if combined with Finance Knowledge.
  • Languages: Spanish and English high level is a must.
