“Taste the real Barcelona” is the motto of the creative young tour company, Tapas & Beers, that aims to introduce hungry and thirsty travellers to the delights of Catalan cuisine, with a dash of cultural information on the side.

Guests can choose between four activities, the first of which is a private tapas tasting tour that takes you in a small group to explore some of the city’s little-known tapas bars where your guide will help you select the specialist dishes of each place (whether that’s refined razor clams and other seafood delicacies, or earthy Catalan meat balls and Spanish croquettes!) all paired with some great wines and beverages.

The second is a craft beer tasting tour which introduces hop lovers to some of the excellent artisan ales that are currently being brewed in the region of Catalonia.

The third experience on offer is a day-time market and food tour of Sant Antoni, that charts the evolution of Catalan gastronomy from its humble beginnings to modern, creative tapas.

Fresh for 2020, they launched a new flagship tour: The Beer Lovers Food Pairing Tour, that combines the best of their craft beer and tapas tours, for an amazing tasting exploration of the city. It runs every Thursday and Saturday at 6pm.
