We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Synthetic Chemist with demonstrated hands‑on experience and expertise in peptide synthesis to support our expanding drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, synthesis, purification, and characterization of peptides and peptidomimetics, working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Design and execute solid‑phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) using automated synthesizers and manual techniques.
Develop and optimize synthetic routes for linear and cyclic peptides, including complex modifications and conjugations.
Perform purification using preparative HPLC, SFC, MPLC chromatography, and other relevant techniques.
Characterize compounds using HRMS, NMR, and other analytical tools.
Collaborate with medicinal chemists and biologists to support SAR studies and lead optimization.
Document experimental procedures and results in electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) and contribute to internal reports and publications.
Ensure compliance with Eurofins' quality standards and safety protocols.
Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in peptide synthesis, preferably in a CRO or pharmaceutical setting.
Proficiency with automated peptide synthesizers (e.g., Biotage, CEM Liberty Blue).
Strong understanding of protecting group strategies, coupling reagents, and resin selection.
Experience with peptidomimetics, macrocyclization, or conjugation chemistry is highly desirable.
Experience in parallelization using automated platforms is also highly desirable.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
