Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to handle enterprise software engineering design and homologation tests on enterprise devices (e.g., CISCO CPEs, IP Phones).
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
- Configure and maintain test environments for integration and hardware/firmware validation of CPEs, modems, and routers.
- Plan and execute all functional, interoperability, and performance technical detailed testing.
- Coordinate with CPE vendors, Group Network, and CPE functional departments on handling technical issues during homologation and trials.
- Conduct feasibility studies, development, testing, acceptance, and implementation of enterprise CPEs across all necessary technology areas.
- Interface with local markets (Sales, VBTS, Product) and assess network impact for new service requests.
What you bring
- University degree (preferably in computer science, telecommunications, or equivalent).
- Six years of experience in the telecommunications sector.
- Experience in enterprise segment access and telephony is advantageous.
- Very good knowledge of CISCO CPEs.
- Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT.
- Understanding of access and IP routing technologies.
- Understanding of IP (fixed and mobile) telephony.
- Knowledge of security considerations and market solutions in this area.
- Understanding of inter-functional relationships between network elements.
