Job Title

Software Development Engineer 4Summary of the Role

We’re looking for a Java Developer with practical experience in Java (Spring Boot), microservices, and event-driven architectures. You’ll guide a team of developers, contribute to solution design, support code quality, and help shape architectural decisions that promote scalability, resilience, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-quality microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to event-driven systems using Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
• Work with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases to support efficient data modeling and performance.
• Participate in solution design studies, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technology evaluations.
• Promote coding standards, conduct code reviews, and share best practices.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Good programming skills in Java, with practical experience in Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing microservice-based systems.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka in production environments.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL technologies.
• Understanding of event-driven systems, messaging patterns, and RESTful APIs.

Additional Experience (Helpful but not Required)

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, ELK, or Grafana.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
