At ING we are looking for a TS Sales Cash Consultant Iberia

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior VP-Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia with strong Payment and Cash management background to join our Transaction Services (TS) Team of Wholesale Banking Spain & Portugal.

The team works with large corporates to offer TS solutions for the Bank: Payments & Cash Management (PCM), Liquidity Solutions/Bank Mendes Gans (BMG) and Trade (Trade Finance & Working Capital Solutions)

Your key responsibilities:

As a Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia, you will be responsible for growing the Daily Banking business and increasing profitability through the origination of new TS mandates within the Wholesale Banking (WB) client portfolio in Spain and Portugal.

An energetic individual with drive and thorough understanding of the TS products & solutions and Treasury operations, owning and managing prospect deals until signing of the mandate.

The TS Sales Cash Consultant sells the full suite of Cash solutions across the network (both PCM and Liquidity management/BMG)

Key responsibilities and activities:

Positively contribute to Origination and Business development:

- generates new TS share of wallet deals with existing clients as well as with new clients across different sectors, both locally and through ING´s network

- delivers on challenging but specific revenue targets and client profitability within the ING risk framework and appetite

- collaborates with the Local head of Transaction Services in defining the business strategy and commercial plan for the promotion of Cash solutions in Iberia and ING´s network

- collaborates with Local product management to establish priorities for new product developments or enhancements as well as to develop business cases

Ensure transaction execution:

- manages and advice on sizeable and complex cash mandates: end-to-end the pre-lead, pitching, proposal and implementation process effectively and efficiently

- negotiates TS solutions and pricing agreements with clients by carefully and transparently balancing client expectations, cost of sales and service, within the risk appetite, including presentation of the business opportunities to the different commercial committees

- coordinates and supports structuring and execution of Cash mandates in combination with colleagues from the TS Cash Advisory & Structuring Central team in Amsterdam

- monitors implementations handled by the different teams in charge to guarantee the proper delivery of solutions according to the agreements, involving the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of the sales process and documentation. This goes with ensuring proper completion of transactions from a commercial perspective, coordinating different departments involved in the processes including clear instructions for Client Services Delivery to manage client requirements

Customer relationship management:

- is responsible for improving and maximizing the cross-buy of TS Solutions

- is a trusted advisor to prospects and clients and works closely with key internal colleagues/stakeholders like Bankers, TS Sales colleagues in the network, the TS Advisory & Structuring teams as well as Operations, Client Services, Legal, Risk…

- reviews recurrently the operative of existing clients with a view to maintain contracts & agreements and identify risks and opportunities

- keeps a close eye on daily banking services provided by Client Services teams in particular incidences and proactive advice to improve client experience as well as cross buy

- performs client profitability analysis to assess business trends

Risk & Portfolio management:

- monitors the existing portfolio in close consultation with risk management.

- is responsible for operating under our KYC guidelines

Knowledge Management:

- contributes to the innovation and development of new solutions to enhance ING's PCM product catalog

- attends (client) events to position the ING TS value proposition and keep informed on key trends

- maintains knowledge of industry and TS products to the highest professional levels, with especial focus on Cash products

- Bachelor´s or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance)

- at least 5 years relevant experience of working with Iberian clients in originating, negotiating and implementing Cash Management solutions

- in-depth technical knowledge of the PCM and Liquidity product catalog, including, among other products: Payments, Collections, Channels, Cash & Liquidity solutions/Cash pooling

- knowledge of Trade products (Bank guarantees, Receivables and Supply Chain Finance) will be highly valued

- excellent commercial skills and able to excel in originating TS opportunities

- an ambitious entrepreneur that combines client focus with delivery power and strong results orientation

- ability to display style flexibility to teams and adapt plan, approach and behavior to the different needs and situations

- managerial courage to question and make decisions

- ability to communicate smoothly internally and externally

Buscamos una profesional con talento y entusiasmo para ocupar el puesto deSenior VP – Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia, con sólida experiencia en pagos y gestión de tesorería, para unirse al equipo de Transaction Services (TS) de Wholesale Banking en España y Portugal.

El equipo colabora con grandes empresas para ofrecer soluciones TS del banco:Pagos y Gestión de Tesorería (PCM), Soluciones de Liquidez/Bank Mendes Gans (BMG) y Comercio (Trade Finance y Soluciones de Capital Circulante).

Responsabilidades claves:

ComoTS Sales Cash Consultant Iberia, tu misión será impulsar el negocio de banca diaria y aumentar la rentabilidad mediante la captación de nuevos mandatos TS dentro del portafolio de clientes de Wholesale Banking en España y Portugal.

Serás responsable de gestionar oportunidades desde la prospección hasta la firma del mandato, ofreciendo el conjunto completo de soluciones de tesorería (PCM y gestión de liquidez/BMG) a través de la red de ING.

Actividades principales:

Desarrollo comercial y generación de negocio:

  • Captar nuevas oportunidades TS con clientes actuales y potenciales, tanto a nivel local como internacional.
  • Cumplir objetivos de ingresos y rentabilidad dentro del marco de riesgo de ING.
  • Colaborar en la definición de la estrategia comercial y el plan de promoción de soluciones de tesorería en Iberia.
  • Trabajar con el equipo de producto local para priorizar desarrollos y mejoras, y elaborar business cases.

Ejecución de transacciones:

  • Gestionar mandatos complejos de tesorería de forma integral: desde la propuesta hasta la implementación.
  • Negociar soluciones TS y acuerdos de precios, equilibrando expectativas del cliente, costes y riesgos.
  • Coordinar la estructuración y ejecución de mandatos junto al equipo central de TS Cash Advisory & Structuring en Ámsterdam.
  • Supervisar la implementación de soluciones, asegurando la calidad, puntualidad y precisión del proceso comercial y documental.

Gestión de relaciones con clientes:

  • Maximizar la venta cruzada de soluciones TS.
  • Actuar como profesional asesora de confianza para clientes y prospectos, colaborando estrechamente con equipos internos como Bankers, TS Sales, Advisory & Structuring, Operaciones, Legal, Riesgos, etc.
  • Revisar periódicamente la operativa de clientes para mantener contratos y detectar riesgos u oportunidades.
  • Monitorizar el servicio diario de banca, proponiendo mejoras proactivas para optimizar la experiencia del cliente.

Gestión de riesgos y portafolio:

  • Supervisar el portafolio en coordinación con el equipo de riesgos.
  • Operar conforme a las directrices de KYC.

Gestión del conocimiento:

  • Contribuir a la innovación y desarrollo de nuevas soluciones para ampliar el catálogo de productos PCM.
  • Participar en eventos para posicionar la propuesta de valor de ING TS y mantenerse al día en tendencias clave.
  • Mantener un alto nivel de conocimiento técnico sobre la industria y productos TS, especialmente en soluciones de tesorería.

¿Qué buscamos?

  • Mínimo 5 años de experiencia relevante con clientes en Iberia en soluciones de Cash Management.
  • Conocimiento técnico profundo de productos PCM y de liquidez (pagos, cobros, canales, cash pooling, etc.).
  • Se valorará positivamente el conocimiento en productos de Trade (garantías bancarias, factoring, financiación de cadena de suministro).
  • Excelentes habilidades comerciales y capacidad para generar oportunidades TS.
  • Espíritu emprendedor, orientación a resultados y enfoque en el cliente.
  • Capacidad de adaptación a diferentes equipos y situaciones.
  • Valentía para tomar decisiones y cuestionar constructivamente.
  • Comunicación fluida interna y externa.
  • Sensibilidad organizativa y capacidad para entender dinámicas locales y globales.
