As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll build innovative solutions that strengthen our security posture while supporting vulnerability management, penetration testing, and purple team initiatives. You'll work with cutting‑edge technologies in a multi‑cloud environment to create robust security systems that protect our global operations.
The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As part of the Security Team, the Security Engineering team owns and integrates applications and tools for vulnerability management, penetration testing, and Red Teaming.
You're a passionate security professional who understands that effective vulnerability management is a critical enabler of business performance. You thrive in collaborative environments and can translate complex technical concepts into practical security solutions. Your technical expertise is complemented by excellent communication skills and a drive to continuously improve security operations.
For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 60,000 and EUR 100,000 (for a full‑time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance‑based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least 2-3 days per week.
