Bertrandt Technology, a leading company specializing in software development and engineering solutions for industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team.

As a Senior Project Manager within our Project Management Office (PMO) you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our high‑impact projects. You are responsible for driving project execution, overseeing multiple project teams and providing strategic direction in key areas such as project monitoring, financial control and risk management. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects in industries with stringent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Monitoring and Control: Lead the monitoring of project timelines, scope and costs to ensure on‑time delivery within budget.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration: Coordinate and manage cross‑functional teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Oversee the generation and interpretation of KPIs and the creation of comprehensive project reports for senior management.
• Financial and Risk Management: Ensure the financial viability of projects through detailed financial oversight and risk management strategies.
• Documentation and Team Leadership: Manage the creation of functional documentation and lead engineering teams to achieve project goals.

What you bring along

• Academic Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering with extensive experience in project management.
• Project Management Expertise: Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in industries such as automotive, aerospace or defense linked to software projects.
• Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English (C1) is required; a good level of German will be highly valued.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Excel and SAP. Familiarity with Agile principles and the SCRUM framework is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
