Teads has an opportunity for a senior Marketing Manager who is passionate about technology, innovation, and online video advertising to join our Spanish team, based in Madrid.

This role will be responsible for the development and execution of the Teads brand in Spain, including owning the communication strategy and marketing initiatives to broaden our visibility within the Spanish and Portuguese markets. The role will be directly responsible for ensuring Teads achieves strong commercial success.

As the Senior Marketing Manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, reporting into the European Marketing Director based in London and working closely with the Spanish Managing Director. This role is currently an individual contributor but there may be an opportunity to grow a team. The successful candidate will shape the marketing and communication strategy for Teads Spain and Portugal and should be prepared to take on a hands-on approach supporting a variety of projects.

Your main responsibilities will be to :

  1. Be responsible for driving the local marketing strategy in the region and work closely with the Spanish Managing Director and European Marketing Director on the local budget, including forecasting and tracking;
  2. Drive the creation of world-class marketing communications for Teads Spain across our brands/advertisers, agency clients, and publisher portfolio; including newsletters, campaign management, and external PR;
  3. Work closely with the local PR agency on a communication strategy including thought leadership, press releases, and comment opportunities;
  4. Ensure all communications are aligned with the global marketing strategy, including localizing material where relevant;
  5. Work closely with key stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and publisher organizations to ensure marketing collateral and content are fit for purpose;
  6. Manage the day-to-day operations of Teads’ global events program, including associated marketing communications plans, ensuring responsiveness to stakeholder needs and preferences; ensure events are delivered effectively, efficiently, on budget, and measure success and ROI;
  7. Manage, develop, and implement Teads’ presence at third-party exhibitions, working with partners to provide a cost-effective, impactful presence.

We are looking for an ambitious, self-starter who is passionate about marketing, able to manage multiple projects, and ideally has established connections within the AdTech and online advertising industry.

  • 5-6 years of professional experience in B2B marketing, demonstrating knowledge of a broad range of communication activities – media, websites, publications, marketing, social media, and events;
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written, for preparing and presenting press releases in an advertising environment;
  • Experience working with stakeholders of all levels, including senior leadership;
  • Experience working with senior marketers at agencies and global brands, with expertise supporting and enabling a sales organization an advantage;
  • Extensive event experience and a successful track record of delivering across various communication disciplines;
  • Creative flair to bring fresh ideas from inception to delivery;
  • Ability to handle diverse tasks under pressure;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with experience managing communication projects from start to finish;
  • Experience with social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, is an advantage;
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written;
  • Proactive and diligent self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing across the organization and externally.
