• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
• Ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software.
• Ensure the best possible performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in complete Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer review.
• Innovate within your team and contribute technically.

Senior Java Engineer who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, that is a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking and saving accounts.

100% remote position for people located in Spain.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software
• As part of the DevOps model “you build it, you own it and you run it”, ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Participate in complete Software Development Life Cycle, including occasional QA and peer review
• Work to achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management
• Innovate within your team, initiative area and contribute within your technical domain.

What do we expect from you?

• Very strong Java programming skills and knowledge of building API’s
• Deep understanding of all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle
• Deep understanding of design patterns and principles (e.g. SOLID principles)
• Experience with different testing types : Unit Testing, API Testing, Acceptance Testing, Load Testing
• Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Experience with REST APIs
• Relevant experience with AWS services (for mid profiles this is a desired skill, not a must)
• Experience with Gradle or Maven
• Experience with Enterprise Jenkins
• Experience working in an Agile fashion (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
• Experiencia working with AWS
• English B2+ / C1
