A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Connected Worker Solutions Specialist located in Barcelona, Spain. This is a Senior Individual Contributor role focusing on the hands-on management of Connected Worker platforms. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of IT/OT experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong capacity for change management. The position involves significant travel to oversee implementations and requires the ability to engage effectively with both engineers and operators to foster digital transformation on factory floors.

For our Client we are looking for a tough, operational IT / OT expert who is ready to execute a global digital transformation by delivering hands‑on mobile solutions to our factory floors.

If your career has recently focused on strategy, overhead management, or Director-level titles, this is NOT the role for you. We need someone who lives for implementation and excels at pushing through operational resistance.

The Role: Connected Worker Solutions Specialist

Take full, hands‑on ownership of the full lifecycle for Connected Worker platforms, including mobile device (tablet / smartphone) deployment and integration with existing plant infrastructure (Wi‑Fi, printing systems).

You must possess the technical depth and interpersonal skills to engage directly with engineers and operators, translating their needs into robust, digital use cases. You must be prepared for major cultural pushback regarding system standardization. Deep Manufacturing Experience :

Minimum 5+ years

of technical IT / OT experience with

direct, operational exposure

to a manufacturing / plant environment.

Proven implementation knowledge of Connected Worker platforms (e.g., Strong Change Management capabilities and the energy required to persist and drive adoption despite significant internal friction and rejection.)

Willingness to travel to production sites to oversee deployments.
