The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in avionics design and development, excellent skills in embedded systems, and be fluent in English. Lead Avionics Engineer

We're looking for a professional with good avionics experience, ready to step up to a technical leadership position. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and development of avionics systems from architecture to hardware and embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development : Design and develop complex avionics systems, including system architecture, hardware, and embedded software.
• Prototyping and Testing : Lead the prototyping and testing of flight units, including onboard computers, communication systems, guidance navigation and control (GNC), and payload control.
• Component Selection and Integration : Select and integrate components to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Electronics Design : Develop electronics for signal processing, power, interfaces, and control systems.
• Subsystem Integration and Testing : Lead subsystem integration and avionics testing within the spacecraft.
• Proposal Development : Contribute to proposal development, technical strategies, and system-level planning.
• Team Leadership : Guide and mentor the avionics team.

Qualifications

• Education : Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Aerospace, Industrial, Telecom, or similar).
• Experience : Ideally 5+ years of hands-on experience in avionics design and development.
• Skills : Strong skills in embedded systems, prototyping, and hardware / software integration.
• Avionics System Architecture : Experience with avionics system architecture and spacecraft data-handling.
• Testing and Validation : Comfortable with testing, validation, and integration of complex systems.
• Languages : Fluency in English is required.
