Overview

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you\'ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You\'ll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You\'ll gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS, guiding customers with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions while leading the implementation process and managing risks throughout the project.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and deliver guidance through offerings that help customers achieve outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. Our global specialty practices cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key responsibilities

About The Team

AWS Global Services includes experts who help customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Our efforts span AWS Professional Services, AWS Training and Certification, AWS Support and Managed Services, and AWS Security Assurance Services, with expertise across Partners, Sovereign Cloud, International Product, and Generative AI initiatives. You\'ll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries helping customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation with direct customer interaction
• 3+ years of experience in ML solutions design, architecture and deployment of large-scale machine learning models and systems into production
• Working knowledge of generative AI and hands-on experience in prompt engineering, deploying and hosting Large Foundational Models
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to travel to client locations when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing technologies
• Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or relevant hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization
• AWS experience with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, SageMaker, Bedrock, and other ML services)
• AWS Associate level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate, Machine Learning Associate)
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
