GENERIC AI DATA SCIENCE TEAM We invite you to join us on a critical and exciting mission: to expand and scale our recent investments in the Generative AI area, and lead OLX into the future with LLMs and Generative AI. What you will do in Data Science at OLX

• Work in the Data Science team, focusing on LLMs and GenAI, from a platform and marketplace perspective.
• Build, test and deploy models to production, measuring their true impact.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, translating requirements into achievable projects.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to deliver customer‑facing and platform solutions.
• Work with Product Analytics to track KPIs of ML use cases and measure impact on customers.
• Partner with the Experimentation team to integrate KPIs into the A/B testing platform.
• Collaborate in multi‑functional, diverse global teams.
• Have fun working with us.

Who we’re looking for

• You must be located in Barcelona.
• Solid background in statistics and modeling.
• Good knowledge of Python and experience with common data libraries.
<>Experience with AI Agents frameworks (Pydantic AI, Google ADK, Langchain, etc.).
• Experience with LLM observability, evaluation and tracing concepts and frameworks (Langfuse, Arize AI, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
• Very good knowledge of NLP and deep learning (Embeddings, Language Models, Transformers).
• Good understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Strong engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, containers.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL.
• Experience with MLOps.
• Proficient in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work in diverse, multi‑functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin, Java, Scala, or other languages.
• Experience bringing models into production and serving models at scale.
• Experience using AWS for deploying ML solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience building data pipelines with Spark and Airflow.
• Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation.
• Exposure to MLOps tools.
