What will you do

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for building robust analytical platforms to support data-driven initiatives across the company. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the technical integrity of our Looker data model (LookML development) , managing our Looker instance, and collaborating closely with analytics engineers (using dbt when required) . You will play a crucial role in defining and maintaining the company's data model and ensuring its scalability.

A typical day

• Use Looker to build and maintain critical dashboards that will measure business performance and generate insights.
• Ensure the technical integrity of our data model by developing and maintaining Looker explores and reports.
• Manage our Looker instance, ensuring its optimal performance and scalability.
• Design and implement the Looker data model to support scalable and efficient data analysis.
• Review and ensure the quality of code from peers, focusing on data integrity and best practices.
• Partner with the Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering teams to understand current problems with our existing data platform, identify solutions, and deliver high-quality data foundations.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, such as Product, Operations, Data Platform, and Salesforce Engineering.
• Manage to communicate complex data and insights with business stakeholders in an easy-to-understand format.

What you need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in a data analyst role.
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field.
• High proficiency in SQL is a must.
• Ability to design scalable data models.
• Experience working in Agile environments, preferably with Jira.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is a MUST . Spanish is a plus.
• Problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
• Comfortable working simultaneously on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong quantitative reasoning skills and experience using data to provide insights to executive leadership and other departments.
• Extra Credit - Experience in Looker (LookML development).
• Extra Credit - Experience with dbt modeling.
• Extra Credit - Experience with data analysis and building data pipelines with Python .
