Position Summary
Bentley Systems is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager (Enterprise) - German speaker - to lead our strategic accounts and identify new high-profile opportunities.
This role focuses on infrastructure owners and operators, Tier 1 contractors, and consultants involved in delivering major infrastructure projects across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships at various levels, including C-level within assigned accounts. Act as the primary contact for all commercial communications within these accounts.
- Determine sales strategies and value propositions.
- Negotiate and implement approved contracts.
- Develop Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, account plans, and prospecting plans tailored to the region, industry, and accounts to exceed sales goals.
- Align and collaborate effectively with other Bentley teams to ensure personal and overall team success.
- Utilize “Gap Selling” to identify and maximize value for users and prospects, driving growth.
- Proactively develop proposals to promote the acceptance and value recognition of “Digital Twins.”
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast business weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Bentley's solutions, industry workflows, business drivers, and key players.
- Follow Bentley Sales Process (BSP) and document the sales process in CRM system.
- Attend national and regional tradeshows, conferences, and industry events periodically.
Qualifications :
- Fluency in German (C2) and English; additional languages are a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience in enterprise software sales, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant experience and training.
- Experience working with government organizations is preferred.
- Experience selling infrastructure software solutions like CAD or CDE is desirable, with a good understanding of the European infrastructure market.
- Experience with Bentley solutions or similar offerings is highly valued.
