The ideal candidate must have a robust background in Spanish payroll processes and strong skills in configuring SAP Payroll systems. Responsibilities include implementing payroll solutions, ensuring compliance with Spanish regulations, and supporting year-end activities. The role offers a 6-12 month contract with flexible working options.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in SAP HCM / Payroll, specifically with Spanish PY.
• Strong configuration experience in SAP Payroll, including schemas, rules, and wage types.
• Solid understanding of Spanish statutory payroll processes.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Consultant with expertise in Spanish PY to join our SAP HCM team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Spanish statutory requirements, end-to-end payroll configuration, and integration with SAP HR and time management modules. This role requires hands‑on configuration skills, experience in international payroll environments, and strong stakeholder communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Payroll for Spain
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP payroll system solutions
• Ensure compliance with Spanish, legal, and social security regulations
• Perform payroll schema and rule configuration (PCRs, schemas, wage types, etc.)
• Support integration with Time Management, PA / OM, and Finance
• FI / CO) modules
• Handle payroll testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities
• Liaise with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and external vendors
• Support payroll year‑end activities including reporting and audits
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in SAP HCM / Payroll, specifically with Spanish PY
• Strong configuration experience in SA PY, including schemas, rules, wage types
• Solid understanding of Spanish statutory payroll processes (e.g., tax, insurance, social contributions)
• Ideally some Experience with SAP HR (PA / OM) and Time Management modules
• Ability to perform functional testing and resolve payroll‑related issues; L1 / L2 Experience
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in international or multi‑country payroll environments
• SAP certification in HCM / Payroll
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is a plus
