A consulting group specializing in SAP HCM is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant in Madrid. This senior-level position focuses on payroll processing, ensuring compliance with local labor laws while optimizing SAP systems. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years of experience, strong customization skills, and the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of two on-site days per week.

Formación

  • 8+ years of proven experience in SAP HCM.
  • Strong expertise in Payroll for Spain or Portugal.
  • Advanced customization skills in SAP systems.

Responsabilidades

  • Analyse, configure, and optimize SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour legislation.
  • Provide corrective and enhancement support for payroll processes.
  • Collaborate on integration between systems.
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation.

SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (Senior / Expert)
Locations
  • Portugal – Lisbon (Hybrid – minimum 2 on-site days per week)
  • Spain – Madrid (Hybrid – minimum 2 on-site days per week)
Contract Duration

6 months, with possibility of extension

Role Objective

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant with strong expertise in Payroll to support international implementation, enhancement, and support projects. The role ensures legal compliance and operational excellence in payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse, configure, and optimize SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules, focusing on Payroll, Time Management, and Employee Central.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour legislation (Portugal or Spain).
  • Provide corrective and enhancement support for payroll processes.
  • Collaborate on integration between HCM and third-party systems.
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation (FS, TS, unit and integration testing).
  • Support business stakeholders and promote continuous process improvement.
  • Work effectively in global and multicultural environments, communicating fluently in English.
Technical Requirements

8+ years of proven experience in SAP HCM.

  • Strong expertise in Payroll (Portugal or Spain) and local labour compliance.
  • Advanced customization and configuration skills for schemas, rules, wage types, and PCRs.
  • Experience with regression testing and international rollouts.
Preferred

Exposure to RISE with SAP / S/4HANA HCM or EC Payroll projects.

Languages
  • Portugal – Fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Spain – Fluent in Spanish and English.
