About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Manager for USA with strong expertise in hydrocolloids and alginates and carrageenan and their application in the meat industry. Our client is a global leader in the production of natural hydrocolloids for the food industry.

LOCATION: USA

This role offers the opportunity to drive growth in one of the most dynamic markets worldwide, working with innovative functional ingredients that deliver high performance and value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the US market, with a strong focus on meat applications.
  • Manage and expand the customer portfolio, identifying new business opportunities and building long-term relationships.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to clients, positioning our hydrocolloid solutions as key enablers for product innovation and process optimization.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with application, R&D, and marketing teams to ensure a strong alignment between customer requirements and innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in the food ingredients industry, ideally with focus on hydrocolloids.
  • Solid knowledge of meat applications and the ability to translate technical expertise into customer value.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Availability to travel across the US.
  • Willingness to work under a commercial (independent contractor) agreement in USA.
