tesa is a multinational company, running a portfolio of more than 7. innovative adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions for various industries, commercial customers and end consumers.

To support our strong growth with automotive OEM / OES in Spain, we are recruiting an Account Manager (AM) preferably located in the area of Madrid, to increase sales and margin / profitability of assigned customers. In this role, you will be responsible for set up activity plan in line with segment strategy, identify new opportunities, manage and implement projects and sales pipeline. Together with the Sales Manager, you will also be responsible for building and leading the accounts and the annual budget targets to support the deployment of the Key Account plan. In this position, you will interact with both the sales team and the Automotive Sales Manager based in Italy.

Main Functions :
  • Provide fact-based information and customer access to improve the Marketing mix and complement the technology / product pipeline
  • Build / maintain relationship with customer and local decision maker of RKA
  • Build a robust tesa network (with RKAM, Mkg – R&D – customer solution centre (testing and automation solutions) – controlling functions (across complex customer buying centre)
  • Manage all tesa resources and competences to contribute to the success of the selected projects
  • Consider multiple dimensions to build a power offer : products, services and process integration
  • Manage complex listing, price and contract negotiations.

What you will need

Successful candidates will have :
  • Bachelor or Master level education
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Sales (preferably in Automotive and / or tapes industry)
  • Fluent Spanish and excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Portuguese can be a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and talented networker
  • Knowledge of the sector and the market assigned segment
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Strong customer orientation and passion about building long-term partnerships
  • Working autonomously and self-driven, while proactively seeking support when needed
  • Easily adapting to change and ambiguity.
