Job Purpose: The Remote Field Service Engineer (or Remote IT Support) provides 2nd level client support and services. This role collaborates with local IT support teams in France and other departments for incident resolution and service requests, specifically supporting the French business. Tasks include:

  • Maintaining end-user devices: identifying, analyzing, and repairing equipment failures.
  • Maintaining other equipment like printers, scanners, and warehouse devices.
  • Providing training and guidance to end-users for high-quality support.
  • Escalating incidents when solutions are unknown or cannot be resolved promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote support for incidents and service requests to colleagues in France (60%).
  • Provide local support in Spain (20%).

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Relevant experience in first and second level support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under stress and maintain confidentiality.
  • Quick learner of new systems and technologies.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional non-standard hours and on-call availability.
