Formación

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Ci&TS (R&D) Technician to join our team in Reus. This role supports our Product Experts Managers and Specialists in the development and optimization of compound coatings and fillings, contributing to innovation initiatives and product development projects.

You will play a key role in transforming ideas into tangible solutions for our customers, working in a dynamic market environment that demands agility, creativity, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to Sales and Customers by recommending products and applications from our current portfolio.
  • Produce pilot samples using equipment such as refiners, conche, ball mill, Stephan, chopper, and panning drum in the Pilot Plant.
  • Manage the sample room, including express shipments, SRs closure, comments, and transport budget.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure proper handover to Production and QA for new or standard products.
  • Compile data, perform basic analysis, and create reports on ongoing projects (e.g., panel tests, physical parameters, competitor samples).
  • Support project execution by tracking milestones and contributing to decision-making processes.
  • Define production processes and specifications focused on product safety and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on the industrialization and transfer of new recipes.
  • Calculate compensated recipes to support rework processes in production.
  • Maintain pilot plant and sample room equipment in good working condition.
Profile Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • Technical or vocational training in food science, chemistry, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a technical or R&D role within the food industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with pilot plant operations and customer-facing technical support.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of chocolate and compound coating processes.
