What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly a Senior Python Developer specialized in ETL to work with one of our main clients in the banking sector. Full remote position. Only candidates based in Spain.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Python developer, ideally in ETL.
• Experience with data processing libraries like PySpark and / or Pandas.
• Experience in designing and managing ETL pipelines.
• Desirable experience with AWS (Glue, S3, Cloudwatch Events).
• Familiarity with managing large datasets in Big Data clusters.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and SonarQube.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Commitment to clean code principles for maintaining high-quality and readable code.

Mandatory skills

• Containers: Docker.
• AWS knowledge: Glue, S3, Cloudwatch Events (desirable).
• Big Data: Experience managing Big Data clusters.
• Data processing: Optimization of workflows and performance in distributed environments.
• Version control: Git.
• CI / CD tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, and similar.
• Clean code principles: Best practices for maintainable, readable, and efficient code.
