A leading engineering and architecture firm in Madrid seeks an Intermediate Project Manager to oversee various EPCM projects in the Real Estate sector, encompassing residential, hospitality, office, industrial, and educational developments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil engineering, Building engineering, or Architecture and has experience throughout the entire civil project life cycle. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, developing technical solutions, and leading engineering activities ensuring compliance with design and safety standards. Italian, English, and French proficiency is required.

The project Manager defines technical solutions and organizes technical alignment on a variety of equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, and systems for a diverse client base of manufacturers. Currently, we are working on projects such as the

• Velaya residential development in Southern Spain
• the expansion of a private educational campus in Brussels
• the development of logistics warehouses in Northern Spain
• office and fit-out projects in Madrid and Barcelona

As Project Manager of IPS, you will have the responsibility for the planning and management in a wide range of packages and / or complete projects, ranging from small improvements to large projects.

Lead and coordinate engineering activities during all project phases: conceptual, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Manage and ensure the timely delivery of engineering packages and interfaces with other disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical).

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with project management.

Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation prepared by junior engineers and subcontractors.

Conduct or support technical and commercial vendor evaluations and procurement activities.

Provide technical support and guidance during site construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

Manage projects under BIM Methodology.

Coordinate sustainability and consulting projects.

Act as an owner representative for clients, with direct management of contractors, and internal teams.

Mentor and support junior engineers and trainees.

Degree OR Master’s in Building engineering, Civil engineering, or Architecture.

Experience on a whole life cycle building civil project: master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works and main infrastructure needs, contracting and construction management and supervision.

Competences: MS Office, Office package, BIM and AI. Spanish, English and French. National and international mobility depending on the project. Permanent contract.
