A financial technology company in Barcelona seeks a People Partner for the Merchant Care team. The successful candidate will guide leadership on engagement and performance while ensuring compliance with EU labor law. This role requires 4+ years of experience and offers opportunities to work on large-scale fintech products in a diverse team. As part of our Global Operations organisation, the Merchant Care team is the voice and heartbeat of SumUp — the first line of human connection for millions of merchants around the world. You’ll join our People team in Barcelona , where you’ll act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leaders and teams within Merchant Care. By blending hands‑on people support with long‑term strategy, you’ll help create a culture that celebrates feedback, learning, and performance — all while strengthening our presence as a key operational hub in Europe.
