The IT/OT architect will be responsible for leading the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) within the organization. The primary goal of this role is to ensure the integration, security, operational continuity, and optimization of IT/OT platforms to support the organization's strategic objectives. The IT/OT architect will work closely with engineering, and technology teams to support the implementation of innovative solutions and ensure efficient system functionality
Responsibilities

IT/OT Strategy and Management
- Develop and implement strategies to align IT and OT platforms with business objectives.
- Oversee the integration and management of IT systems (networks, servers, …) and OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, DCS).
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve efficiency and productivity in operational systems.
- Ensure interoperability between IT and OT in manufacturing, logistics, or critical facility environments.

Project Management
- Lead IT/OT integration projects, ensuring delivery within established timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automated and digital solutions.
- Manage the upgrade or modernization of IT Systems related to OT infrastructure.

Security and Compliance
- Assist the global security team on defining cybersecurity strategies to protect both IT and OT systems from internal and external threats.
- Assist the global security team on developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices for OT environments.
- Assist the global security team on security audits, on managing risk assessments and on defining and executing mitigation plans for IT/OT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and internal security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and OT teams to integrate security considerations into projects and operational procedures.

Operations and Support
- Collect the operational demand from the manufacturing plants, analyze it, and forward it to the corresponding team.
- Ensure the delivery of the operational demand related to the IT/OT domain.
- Track and push for the resolution of incidents in IT/OT environments.
- Follow up performance of IT/OT platforms, ensuring high availability and resilience.
- Manage contracts and relationships with IT/OT technology and service providers.
- Assist on establishing processes and policies for efficient management of incidents, changes, and configurations across IT/OT systems.

Leadership and Training
- Foster collaboration between IT, operations, manufacturing, and other related teams.
- Train staff on IT/OT technologies, cybersecurity, and best practices.
