We are currently looking for a Middle+ Front-end Engineer to join our team.

About the project

It is a big international company specializing in gift cards and related digital content, including issuance, distribution, processing payments, exchanging, refilling, and more. The company operates several e-commerce sites and platforms for distributing gift card products, along with core services managing the gift card ecosystem.

Work schedule

The schedule is flexible, shifted to later hours until 19:00-20:00 CET.

Team

3 front-end developers, 1 back-end/devops, 1 QA, 1 tech lead, 1 manager.

Responsibilities

• Play a role as a technical lead in an international team.
• Own key projects, contributing to analysis, decomposition, and delivery planning.
• Develop high-load, multi-country, multi-language e-commerce platforms using Next.js, React, AEM, Adobe Commerce.
• Architect and develop front-end solutions, implement React components, and ensure they meet performance and accessibility standards.
• Optimize application performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Work with product owners to prioritize features and enhancements.
• Provide technical documentation and troubleshoot issues.
• Share knowledge and provide technical assistance to the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of front-end development experience, with expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable, high-performance web applications.
• Experience with React Storybook, design systems, Next.js, Node.js, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of component-based architecture, CI/CD, unit testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Bonus Points

• Experience in e-commerce or payments domains.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering, headless CMS, Adobe Commerce/Magento, GraphQL, AWS, web analytics, personalization, and A/B testing.
