Formación

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in design of hydraulic components.
  • Strong computer skills in CAD software and FEA tools.

Business Contribution:

Develop, lead, and coordinate projects in the world of Mechanics and Hydraulics, focusing on custom and sustaining special Bolting products. The involvement starts with the requirement up to the final delivery of the product. The incumbent is a member of the multi-COE innovation group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • In coordination with the Chief Engineer and Leaders of the Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electric-Software departments, develop processes to ensure delivery of the project according to planning and company standards.
  • Organize and execute the quotation and order process, which includes design, calculation, drawings, and sketches to develop the dummy, final concept drawings, manufacturing drawings, bill of materials, revision drawings, DFMEA, ECN.
  • Prepare the technical documents for manufacturing, operations, or laboratory. Once the project ends, update documents & drawings as built, providing RPS and Instruction Sheets as required.
  • Require quotations from suppliers to make cost estimations prior to handover to supply chain if required.
  • When projects involve multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with those team members for a good share and transfer of information.
  • Develop the most appropriate technical solution to meet customer expectations based on specifications provided by the sales department, organizing customer meetings to clarify needs if necessary.
  • Support the Production Department during assembly, testing & compliance tests and the Sales Department for onsite tests.
  • Prepare all manufacturing drawings, BOM, & global Enerpac engineering process (ECO, Winchil, etc.) for all projects assigned.
  • Carry out regular meetings, together with the NPD & custom staff, to identify deviations from plans and provide corrective actions.
  • Design & evaluate testing procedures in accordance with standards and regulations required in the scope of the project.
  • Collaborate in the development of NPD products.
  • Ensure all HSSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Organization. Proactively participate in safety awareness and improvement.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the business, ensuring that Health & Safety comes first at all times.
Required Capabilities:
  • Mechanical Engineer degree, with demonstrated experience in the design of cylinders, bolt tensioners, mechanical systems, sealing processes, tribology, hydraulic components, or high-pressure hydraulic applications.
  • Computer skills in AutoCAD, FEA (Ansys, Mechanical, Catia), CREO & CREO SIMULATE, or SolidWorks.
  • Fluent communication in English, both speaking and writing.
  • Must have demonstrated creative ability to find technical solutions in the mechanical & hydraulic area and in accordance with other involved fields.
