Overview

Job Description: Airbus Operations is seeking a professional to join the production system efficiency team at Illescas Plant for Industrial System Design and Modelling. The role focuses on defining, developing and maturing industrial solutions to address Aircraft programme challenges, delivering on-time and quality, reducing development and production lead time, and optimizing cost of product and process development and recurring costs. The role involves providing new processes, methods and tools (including design, modelling and simulation) to improve and predict industrial performance, in close collaboration with transnational ISE functions on industrial projects and new processes, methods & tools.

Your Impact
  • You will be a catalyst of change within a local team of Lean & Industrial ISEs to change the ways of working of the Industrial Community.
  • This position will allow you to be a Key Driver of Airbus Industrial Strategy at Illescas plant with high influence on legacy programs and the Factory of the Future.
  • You will be directly involved in R&T and industrial projects and contribute to the design of the future Airbus industrial systems, to boost our industrial performance.

The principle responsibilities of the role
  • You will contribute to Industrial System Design of Airbus at Illescas plant for future and existing Programs.
  • You will support Key industrialization projects with Manufacturing Line Design skills to ensure project outcomes deliver tangible benefits and long term performance.
  • You will evaluate and challenge current and future industrial solutions and give recommendations to Industrial Architects through our innovative digital capabilities.
  • You will Develop Manufacturing Line Design ways of working to answer the business priorities.
  • You will increase knowledge and autonomy with the main tools design for flow and ergonomics simulations.
Your Boarding Pass
  • Strong background in Manufacturing or Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering with deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Operational experience in the Implementation and Optimization of Industrial Systems (Conception phase, Qualification, Implementation, Management of Production Processes).
  • Proven experience in Industrialization and Shop-Floor execution.
  • Solid knowledge of Industrial Performance Management.
  • Autonomy and ability to influence, lead the Change and deal with transformation processes in an international environment.
  • Previous knowledge on MBSE and PLM tools with focus on Flow simulation such as Anylogic & 3DExperience is a must.
