A leading logistics company in Valencia is seeking a Freight Bill & Audit Specialist. This role involves coordinating freight billing data, ensuring timely processing of invoices, and providing analysis to support financial management. The ideal candidate should have a strong operational skillset, fluent English, and excellent analytical capabilities. Knowledge of multi-country transport rates and intermediate Excel skills are also vital. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a diverse and international work environment.

Formación

• Operations background preferable with strong operational skillset.
• Finance background beneficial.
• Knowledge of rates, currencies, and modes of transport in multi-country operation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and prepare freight billing data accurately.
• Process invoices in a timely manner.
• Support finance manager in building analysis and reports.
• Proactively resolve queries with other departments.

What will you perform as Freight Bill & Audit Specialist?

FBA&P Assistant is responsible for co-ordinating and preparing freight billing data whilst ensuring all documentation is processed and completed on time and accurately. This role has direct contact with the suppliers and is required to deliver an excellent customer service both to the internal and external customers of the FBA&P department

Would you like to know your contribution purpose?

Ensuring all costs received and processed in a timely manner on behalf of the customer. Processing invoices in the week they are received so that the charges can be billed out to customer and that the contract remains cash neutral

Support FBA&P Assistant Finance Manager in building analysis and reports inc customer recharge

Proactively resolve queries on site with other departments ina timely manner (Clearing invoice rejections, Reconciling statements on monthly basis)

Ownership of rejection log and dashboard to display position of department

Reconciliation of carrier statements

Providing analysis and data to FBA&P Assistant Finance Manager

Coaching other departments for process resolution
