Introduction To The Vacant Position

The Biomimetic systems for cell engineering Group is looking for a Laboratory Assistant to assist the ongoing research projects of the group, particularly in the fabrication of hydrogel-based 3D models and support cell culture activities.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree with excellent manual skills to handle delicate materials.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of hydrogel-based 3D models
• Perform routine cell culture maintenance and support experimental procedures
• Handle small tools and components with precision and care
• Maintain organized lab records and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements for Candidates

• Technical training in biomedical laboratory or similar
• Basic experience with cell culture techniques will be advantageous
• Excellent manual skills and attention to detail
• Patience and the ability to work meticulously under supervision
• Communication, teamwork and collaboration, commitment, proactivity, integrity, critical and analytical thinking
• Adaptability and willingness to support the diverse needs of the team
• Basic level of English since it is the main communication language within the group

Working Conditions

Full-time 6 months contract
