Are you passionate about creating safe, healthy, and productive workplaces? Chubb European Group is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Spain. In this pivotal role, you will manage and promote Safety, Health, and Risk Management programs, ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation while fostering a sustainable preventive culture across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with Spanish regulations.

Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections, utilizing your attention to detail to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.

Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, leveraging your troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and maintain high standards.

Deliver engaging health and safety training programs, supporting our teams with customer service support and value analysis to highlight the benefits of our safety initiatives.

Promote a strong safety culture by leading awareness campaigns, safety committees, and emergency preparedness exercises.

Collaborate as a trusted business partner and consultant with internal teams and external service providers, demonstrating deep customer knowledge and business partnership skills.

Optimize resource planning to maximize results and achieve performance goals, while actively managing time and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Support asset utilization and cost control by managing resources efficiently and minimizing losses.

  • High-level fluency in Spanish and English.
  • University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) and a Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. Specialization in Occupational Safety & Ergonomics and Psychosocial Risks required
  • Certifications in Health & Safety (. NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Health & Safety role
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish health & safety regulations is mandatory.
  • Good commands with Ms Office and computer tools.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities, with a proven track record in time management.
  • Experience in resource planning & optimization, and a keen eye for value analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a business partner and trusted advisor.
  • Excellent attention to detail, troubleshooting, and customer service support skills.
